Today’s photo is of a streetlamp along the path in Prospect Park. I realized that even though I walk in the park early enough in the morning for the lights to be on, I don’t usually notice them. Today, because I was paying attention – intentionally noticing – I saw this one.
These streetlamps replaced older ones a few years ago. I like the way the Parks Department installed ones that have an old-fashioned look to them.
In the photo, there are beautiful rays of light emanating from it that one doesn’t see with the naked eye. How does the camera capture something that didn’t seem to be there?
Anyone know why? That’s not a rhetorical question. LOL
