Today’s photo is of the water running in Prospect Park from the pond as it forms a stream that runs through a large part of the Park.

I took it because I was struck by the black reflection of the tree trunks in the water.

Looking at it now, there is so much more to see. You can see the reflection of the light from the streetlamp that is behind the trees. To the left, you can also see the reflection of the red and green leaves in the water.

Unlike the clear reflection of the tree trunks, the reflection of the leaves is more blurred, looking almost like a Monet painting. (Disclaimer: I just saw the Monet and Venice Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum.)
